D&G Security Systems joins Ranger Fire and Security, further strengthening the Group’s presence in the Midlands

  • Midlands-based D&G Security Systems, established in 2011, becomes the latest business to join the Ranger Group, bringing the total number of Ranger businesses to 27.
  • Established in 2011, D&G will boost Ranger’s growing presence in the Midlands and support its ongoing mission to create a national platform for all fire and security needs.
  • D&G’s leadership team will remain in place as part of the agreement, ensuring the company continues to provide customers with the high-class service it is known for.

Wednesday 21st October, London: Ranger Fire and Security has today welcomed D&G Security Systems to the Group, further strengthening its presence and service offering in the Midlands.

Founded in 2011 and based in Stourport-on-Severn, Worcestershire, the team at D&G has spent 15 years designing, installing and maintaining systems for domestic, commercial and industrial customers across the public and private sectors.

D&G delivers a range of services to customers, spanning intruder alarms, CCTV, access control, security lighting and fire alarms. The business has built a strong local reputation for tailored systems and a reliable, personal service.

Led by Director Darren Griffiths, D&G’s partnership will boost Ranger’s coverage in the region, with enhanced collaboration with the existing Midlands-based businesses including Ignis Fire Protection – an award-winning fire alarm, detection and security business based in Solihull – and MarkOne Safety Solutions – a Stourbridge-based specialist in fire safety and emergency lighting systems.

As part of the new partnership, D&G’s leadership will remain in place alongside its team of engineers and support staff, continuing to coordinate business operations and drawing on the scale and support of the wider Ranger Group, as it continues to build a one-stop shop for all fire and security needs.

Mark Bridges, CEO of Ranger Fire and Security, said: “We’re delighted to welcome Darren and the D&G team to Ranger. Since 2011, they’ve built a strong reputation for providing a reliable, personal service to their customers – exactly the kind of like-minded, customer-centric business we want to partner with.

“Alongside Ignis and MarkOne, D&G will help us further strengthen our presence in the Midlands and give customers access to a broader range of fire and security services, all as part of our mission to create a fire and security platform that is truly national in scope.”

Darren Griffiths, Director of D&G Security Systems, said: “Over the last 15 years, we’ve put providing best-in-class customer service at the heart of what D&G does. Joining Ranger means we can keep doing exactly that, with the added benefits of being part of a national fire and security platform.

“It’s an exciting next step for our business and our team, and I’m looking forward to working closely with other Group businesses as we continue to cement Ranger as the go-to national provider for all fire and security needs.”

D&G is the latest business to join Ranger since Inflexion, a leading European mid-market investment firm, made a majority investment in the Group in June 2026 to accelerate its growth across the UK and Ireland.

With this backing, Ranger is on a mission to become the leading one-stop provider for fire and security services across the UK and Ireland. Through strategic acquisitions and investment in technology and talent, Ranger offers a comprehensive range of services at a regional and national level, all while providing a seamless customer experience.
